Installing sod is not an easy task to do on your own. It takes a lot of effort and money to get it done on your own. Our process of installing sod is the following. We look over your home to see where you want to add new sod, we order the type of sod that you want to have installed in your home. Our best recommendation is Kentucky Bluegrass which is a common choice of grass for your home. We then mark the locations of the Sprinklers so that we can avoid damaging them while we replace your sod. We then proceed to remove the old sod from your lawn with a sod cutter. If it’s a complete yard removal we will have a compact loader scrape off the old sod and proceed to remove the sod from the lawn.
Sod Installation
After all of the lawn is cleared we make sure your lawn is leveled making sure that there are no dips in the lawn. After leveling the lawn we then install the brand new sod to your lawn. Each piece is placed in the correct position to make sure all is lined up to the structure of the lawn. We then double-check the sprinkler system to make sure all sprinkler heads are popping out of the lawn. After everything has been finalized your lawn is ready to go.
